NEW CD 'FASTFORWARD"

CLTrio was created in Amsterdam in 2006 by the Spanish piano player/composer Cesar Latorre, Greek double bass player Petros Klampanis and Latvian drummerArtis Orubs. Freedom of performance, modern romanticism and jazz vocabulary, are the guidelines of this young European piano trio. In their music there are contrasted moments of delicate intimacy and robust rock attitude. The three instruments melt in musical experiments in order to create a personal band sound that catch and surprise the audience. In January 2007 the group was awarded at the YPF Jazz Competition in Amsterdam. The jury was consisted of important personalities of the European jazz, such as Enrico Pieranunzi, John Taylor and Bobo Stenson among others. Also awarded at the Hoeilaart Jazz Young Talent'08. In addition the band has participated in the international competitions "Jazz Na Odra" in Wroclav (Poland) and Audiciones '08 in Madrid (Spain) and Granada Jazz Contest '08.  "FASTFORWARD"  is the first Cd of this trio, wel received by critics and audience.
