Born in Gijon, Spain in 1979. At the age of 5 starts his classical piano studies at the Conservatory of Gijon, where he receives lessons with Roberto Mendez. After finish the "Medium Degree on Classical piano" he receives lessons from Purita de la Riva finishing the "High Degree on Classical Piano" at the Conservatory of Oviedo, Spain.
At the age of 21 he moves to The Netherlands to study jazz piano at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, were he studied with the pianists Karel Boehlee, Rob van Bavel , Kriss Goesens and Hans Vroomans. During his studies he has attended workshops with musicians as John Taylor, Kenny Werner, John Clayton, Bill Carothers , Jim MacNelly , Horacio Icasto, Barry Harris or Yuri Honing
In 2006 he studied at the JIB, Jazz Institute Berlin, Germany, where he received lessons from the pianist Wolfang Kohler In 2007 followed lessons from piano jazz master Hal Galper at Purchase College of New York. During this period he received private lessons from the pianists Jason Moran and Ethan Iverson.
He has recorded 10 Cd's of different styles as jazz, world music, pop and rock and performed in important concert halls as Het Concertgebouw, Het Muziekgebouw, Heineken Hall and the Bimhuis in the Netherlands. With CLTrio, his jazz piano trio he has performed in Spain, Poland, Greece, Belgium, Germany, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and The Netherlands.
In January 2007 he received the second price on the Young Pianist Foundation Jazz Piano International Competition that took place in Amsterdam, with enthusiastic critics of the jury, that was formed by recognized pianists as John Taylor, Enrico Pieranunzi or Michael Borstlap.
In 2008 he was awarded at the Hoeilaart Jazz Competition that took place in Brussels. In the same year he participated in the finals of other international competitions like "Audiciones 08" or "Granada Jazz International Competition".
In 2010 he releases “Fastforward“, his debut piano trio album, with only original pieces. At the moment he is involved in the edition and promotion of this new CD.

He has performed with Michael Mossman, Enrico Pieranunzi, Scooty Banhart, Antonio Hart and Franz van der Hoeven, the contemporary jazz dutch band Tet Zepi. among others. He has shared festivals with Tutu Pouane, Brad Mehldau and Zuco among others.
